Welcome to Steve Dixon Photography

Speedway photography is my passion, I have been a supporter of the sport for 40 years and have photographed it since 2005.

I started out photographing the Scunthorpe Scorpions who rode in the British Conference League, in 2008 they stepped up to the British Premier League, while also running a team in the Conference, they became Scunthorpe Saints.

From 2006 to 2009 I also photographed Peterborough Panthers who ride in the British Elite League, the top league in British Speedway.

In 2011 I will be photographing the Leicester Lions, this will be Leicesters first year back in British Speedway since their closure in 1983.

As well as home meetings, I like to follow the club I photograph at as many away meetings as possible, this has led to my pictures being published in the local press, I have had regular pictures printed in the Scunthorpe Telegraph and Peterborough Telegraph, as well as some publications in various other countries that have taken a interest in British Speedway.

Additionally in 2011 I will aslo be official photographer to Worcester Grasstrack Club.
